Miller, ToddStorming the Wall: Climate Change, Migration, and Homeland Security. (City Lights Books, 2017)

Miller previews threats to the social fabric posed by climate change.  Millions of migrants fleeing deadly heat, drought, coastal inundation, and food scarcity.  Militarized borders and localized conflicts, to keep the migrants out.  Fortified enclaves that protect the rich elites and their lifestyle from the mass of poor and homeless people.

Todd Miller is author of three books about borders, their militarization and expansion.
